I arrived to Zona Romantica, Mexico during one of the slowest seasons of the year and was met with closed doors and closed galleries. While I sat in the silence of a vacant beach town while working on personal pieces in Airbnb. I thought to myself this will be the ideal time to paint a mural, to take a chance. I saw the cafe a few times during my walks around town and had the vision to bring life into a space that was blank and open. I went to the shop with the supplies I gathered at the gallery I never heard back from the previous day. This was my first large mural and I had no idea what would it invoke in me nor the journey it would start. I had my sketches, ideas, and courage to bring what I visioned to life.
